This video shows how to do the background compositing animation that gives that dramatic effect later on in the animation. I go over how to create the gradient in Gimp and export it and then bring it into Blender as an image in the Compositing tab. Then how to animate the transition from a solid background to the gradient. And the importance of removing the world background to alpha over the new transparent background.

Dark Shepard here. This is going to be kind of a short video. This is just kind of how to do this transition background in here with the gradient.

How to make the gradient and how to actually get it to show up in the background.

Because if you actually render without it, it kind of has different ways that it renders.

Like if you actually don't have the background changed, it can actually just render black.

Or if you have the wrong colors, it can do that.
